I started working for emi landscape at ten years old, and worked my way up from trailer washing, to mulching, to mowing. Then, when I turned 18, I moved to Washington DC to study auto mechanics, with no intention of returning. But in 2008 my stepdad broke his arm, followed quickly by his hand, and he (literally) needed a right-hand man. I drove back to Pennsylvania to help out “for a week”, and ended up staying.

Since then, I’ve worn many hats: mowing team leader, bed maintenance manager, and head of the installation division, to name a few. I got my pesticide license, qualified as a Certified Snow Professional, and got my Advanced Snow Manager (ASM) certification. I took over as operations manager in 2015, and purchased the company in January of 2021, giving me the chance to stand at the helm of one of the largest and most respected landscape companies in our region.
